Why hire us
Better than one, better than too many
A single driver isn't enough to provide reliable
transportation support. One driver will often be unavailable, have car breakdowns,
scheduling conflicts. Yet big companies are typically slow to respond to individual needs.
Thus us, a small, loosely structured, dynamic, and informal
coop.
No agents, no dispatchers, no long communication
lines, no misunderstandings
You will correspond via e-mail (or talk on the phone) with
the very person who'll meet you and otherwise look after your needs. See our Driver List for contacts details of individual drivers, or just
write to the Olesya who will help
to match you with an individual driver/assistant in view of your needs and their
availability. If you've worked with one of us before, just enter the name of the person
(Pasha, Slava, or Vladimir) in the subject field, and he will make every effort to be
there for you again. And, if we screw up, you will know exactly who to hold accountable :)
We all speak English!

While we don't try to compete in terms of price, hiring us
may be considerably cheaper than engaging a driver and an interpreter separately. Tell us
your needs and your budget and we'll recommend the most suitable person to help you get
the most out of your trip to Moscow.
While of course advance arrangements are best,
we can often act at a moment's notice.
Safety is our first concern
We practice a conservative and defensive driving style.
Those familiar with the Moscow road situation will appreciate being with us. Unlike taxi
drivers, we receive fair rates and are not under financial pressure to save seconds by
exposing you to risk.
Our inconspicuous cars attract no undesirable
attention
Those who have travelled here before will appreciate not
being stopped by the traffic police three times a day for annoying document checks.
We will answer your questions,
discuss your special needs and address any concerns you may
have on the way to or from the airport. Your ride can very easily be turned into an
entertaining and informative tour!
We provide help with buying tickets at domestic
prices,
cell phone purchase or rental, errands, etc. - pretty much
anything and everything to make your trip easy and budget-effective.
Accommodation is no problem
We will advise you of the best hostel, hotel, apartment or
room for you. One of us (Pasha) is an expert on the budget end of the accommodation market
and in most cases will be able to recommend decent lodging arrangements starting at
$25/night for a room or $50 for a private apartment. [Outdated info.
As of January 2008 expect to pay $30 single, $50 couple for a room,
and $80 at the very least for an apartment.] You may want to check out his www.cheap-moscow.com
A simple straightforward fee structure:
$60 for a ride from Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo or any other
airport to the city center at any time of day or night. No surcharges eg. for parking. In
most cases we charge no fee for waiting because we will call to check that your flight is
on time. There is no extra charge for, say, stopping at a bank to exchange money and,
whilst we neither claim nor aim to be the cheapest, our prices are in no way out of line.
Our competitors often advertise lower prices but charge you for waiting time, parking,
stopping etc. And, yes, we can issue an official receipt with a round Russian-style seal
if you are travelling on business.
We have excellent references
See individual pages of our drivers. You will also find some
client feedback on us at our guestbook.
You are invited to leave your opinion there too.
